Purpose & Goals

This project aims to empower women and girls in Nepal through rugby by:

Increasing female participation in rugby at the grassroots level

Developing leadership skills via coaching/mentoring components

Promoting gender equality and shifting social perceptions around women in sport

The initiative is spearheaded by Play Rugby Nepal, a grassroots-focused rugby development organization operating in Kathmandu and across Nepal. RugbyHER is listed alongside other projects like RugbyRise and TackleSuccess under their umbrella of impact-driven programming
